A brotherly hug... Admist all the running, screaming, laughing, chasing, pushing, fighting over toys and sharing of toys. Every so often, they like to remind each other, and us, how much they care for their brother.

Happy 2nd birthday to Rufus. You are the most resilient little boy, facing challenges with a smile on your face. We are so proud of you. You are funny, cheeky and always down to boogie. You have brought so much happiness and taught us all so much. Our (not so) little warrior!

So the big birthday weekend, was CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort, and the kids loved it. Honestly the best holiday/mini break we have had as a family. They loved the rides, shows and the hotel room. I think we were all gutted we had to come home, but so many priceless memories!

In Australia, a baby is born with cystic fibrosis every four days, and today they will have access to life changing medicine under the PBS. This reduces the cost of treatment from $250,000 to just $31.60.

Rufus has never been more lively than he has recently. Loving and finding joy in everything, so having a little bug/stomach issues last week was not fun. However, he bounced back over the weekend and returned to his beach and playtime enjoyment like it never happened!

It's been a great week getting out as a family in our 'second summer' 😂 The boys love being outside. Seeing them grow up, getting to enjoy more of life, is honestly a blessing. As we struggled to see this future a while ago. But now, we can't stop enjoying our time together!

You destroyed a library. It was MORE than a library, it was a food bank, a source of heat for people in the winter, a place for kids from low income families to use the internet, or do their homework. Why destroy something so vital? Yeah you’re so patriotic guys.

Nothing better than family time in the park in these horrible times. If only everyone would try to look at the world through the eyes of a child, the innocence and wonder, perhaps the world and the people in it, would be in a much better place... Until, I'll keep savouring this.

Borrowed from my wife, but she's right, the call that night was the most anxious call of my life. Not knowing whether he'd live till the next hour. Now we're two years on and he's chasing after his brother like nothing happened. I'll bear the scars, but I'm glad he won't.

So grateful for the sharing of this, as it was a vital win for the community and for the parents with children, like Rufus, who could have just missed out on these modulators had the decision gone the other way... Testament to the hard work and fight from the CF community!

Been an eventful and fun week for the four of us. First a short break in #Blackpool with visits to Peter Rabbit : Explore and Play Blackpool and #GruffaloClubHouse, plus lots of arcades time for Henry and Rufus! Then a stop off at National Railway Museum in York. Nice ending to our summer holidays as a family.

It's the days like this that make every stressful, sleepless, anxious, and caffeine filled day worth it...

This! Honestly so many people with Cystic Fibrosis having to and quote someone I spoke to "not eat today" as they ran out of their digestion medication. How is this OK?.. I'll tell you, it's not! It's not OK for adults and it's not OK for children and babies!
