Dear Satya,

Nobody, and I mean *Nobody* wants AI features. Nobody. I know you're on the FOMO train right now because Microsoft got caught with their pants down in the mobile phone revolution. But damn. NOBODY wants this. Like at all.

Please, relegate AI to targeted features

Eva '...a would-be hacker would need to gain physical access to your device, unlock it and sign in before they could access saved screenshots.'

Or, you know, talk their way into a remote session like scammers like doing.

Does MSFT know about client side attacks? Accessing local data on a host is just a drive by download away.

The more I learn about this system the less I get why they're doing this.

And yes. Sadly abusers will use the hell out of this.

I've got some news for Microsoft about how domestic abuse works.

Sometimes having a great day -- to spite folks (note: to spite, not in spite) -- is a winning move.

Loving life and telling trolls 'cool story bro' goes a long way to making me happy.

I will _never_ understand the rationale behind MSFT Recall.

This just seems like a Bad Idea.

I look forward to hours of calls and briefings about how to disable this.

In a few weeks, I'll be in Munich. I will get a chance to work auf meine deutsche Aussprache.

To prep, I'm working on Barbara's Rhubarb Rap to get back into the swing of things.

Fight the FUD.

I'm upset at how popular these wrong threads are.

The only cure to this stuff is sharing facts.

Patiently educating hopefully works.

New version of Concierge out soon. Maybe next week.

LOTS and LOTS of bug fixes.

New database backend! Just a functional swap, but will better allow --dope-- things soon!
- cross collection searches
- mother f'ing RBAC!!

This isn't even a little OK. From sensitive configs, passwords or keys that are _briefly_ visible.

I expect the ultra majority of folks will want this turned off, and permanently.

It's a neat idea, but it feels so half baked.

Never had to break out the mentholated shave soap this early in the year... but here we are.

Cryogen. Clears your sinuses, makes you weep a little... and gets you so cold, you're scared you'll shatter like the T-1000 in Terminator 2.
