Corbyn was criticised for his magic money tree (and rightly so) but Reform’s manifesto is just as absurd. All sounds great - but impossible to fund.

It’s no shock the riots happening in the most deprived places. It’s the same reason white working class men become football hooligans - they are angry at the state of their lives.

There are towns/cities I have visited for football - that I otherwise would never have been to. Middlesbrough. Sunderland, Hull, Bolton etc - it really is grim up north. No money, no prospects, no hope.

Arsenal have a super squad - but what they needed was that real match winner. That special striker who finds a win when they don’t deserve one. They haven’t signed one - that’s why City make it 5 in a row.

Chelsea’s season won’t be defined by a result against the best team in the league - but there are huge concerns for the blues. Look so disjointed - and I don’t think anybody has a clue what their strongest 11 is.

Chelsea worked out they shouldn’t play Mudryk just because he cost a fortune - and for me it’s time to start having those conversations about Enzo. He just isn’t very good.

Arsenal are right to let ESR, Nketiah, Nelson, Elneny all go - they weren’t going to take them to the next level. But looks a bit thin in midfield and attack. Need Merino and one more before the end of the window for me.

AP can have spurs playing lovely football on their day - but he doesn’t know how to adapt. He wants to play like he did at Celtic - but Spurs aren’t the top team in the country and this isn’t a farmers league.

Big game for Spurs today. That Everton team is riddled with injuries - need to really make a statement win today to kickstart their season.

Toney is a great striker. Would start for United, Spurs, and Chelsea, and would provide another option for Arsenal. Concerns about his attitude must be very real - nobody wanted to touch him.

There is nothing to suggest AP is a top manager. He was nearly 60 before he managed in a top 5 league - and has spent his career managing in famers leagues. But because he says “mate” in interviews the media seem to go easy on him.

I am so desperate to be wrong - as we don’t want a league where the same team wins the title 6,7,8 times in a row - but nobody are stoping City this season are they?

United made the correct and only decision they could re Greenwood - the evidence was just too damaging. Doesn’t change the fact he was the best striker at the club though.
