For a few years now I've made it my mission, along with countless others, left, right, and center, to alert people to the mounting threats from those who would restrict our speech, control our expression, and invade our privacy. The situation has worsened. Now it's grave. Please

This is propaganda designed to scare you away from the very foods that will bring you good health. Most industry incentives (pharma, ultra processed foods) are unfortunately aligned with keeping you sick. nypost.com/2024/08/31/lif…

I've never seen a drug pushed as much as Ozempic. Claims for weight, T2D, heart disease and now aging. Meanwhile lawsuits continue for stomach paralysis, intestinal blockages, vision loss & death.😡

This is shamefully lazy. Why does the writer pooh-pooh the low-carb diet, when massive clinical evidence shows that it works? Even American Diabetes Association (quietly) acknowledges this. I am a T2D who has been writing about this crippling epidemic for the Guardian, and I

Diabetes is a national epidemic and a national scandal. If we're serious, we must deal with the elephant in room. And here it is: "We must defund, disqualify and otherwise delegitimize the American Diabetes Association (ADA)." theguardian.com/global/comment…

The next President should follow this plan, by Neil Barsky, to Reverse Diabetes in America. The science and practice to do this are well established. The disease costs $1 Trillion/day to treat. Let's do it! #metabolicrevolution @vp

Here's the NYTimes with the "latest" from the American Heart Association (AHA) Advising food > drugs is always a good idea, so that's good. However, lowering LDL-C via diet has been shown in clinical trials to have little-to-no effect on longer-term 'hard outcomes' incl.

Lean people on low-carb diets who see LDL-C rise were found to have no signficant difference in plaque build-up compared to matched controls, over ~5y. This is a huge breakthrough paper for this group of people. Congrats to @realdavefeldman et al. for this important work! It's
