You know, I'm writing this book and I don't hate it yet, and it's just *flowing* so well. Which is such a marked difference from The Necessity of Rain I cannot put it into words. That book felt like wrestling a bear. This one is just like... "Ta da!" *jazz hands* and I love it.

I loved this. I read it to my kids while I was editing it, and they loved it too. Seriously, such a heartwarming book. ❤️

We have finished 3 weeks of the school year. The eldest child was sick last week. The youngest child is sick this week. Now the husband is sick. And my throat is starting to bother me. Please be patient with my email replies while we deal with the funk. ❤️❤️❤️

Sometimes writing is fun. And sometimes it amounts to an hour of research in an attempt to figure out how toilets would function in the historical time period I'm basing the book on.

My god I can't get over how pretty my book turned out to be. 😍 Even after all these months, seeing pictures of it just does it for me. Support Rainbow Crate, folks. They are amazing.
