Honored to have met with President Barrow today as he bids me farewell. Highlighted how #TheGambia’s portfolio doubled during my tenure, thanks to his leadership. I also expressed hope that the youth & women will continue to be empowered, particularly by upholding the FGM law.

Honored to meet His Majesty King Mswati III and reaffirm the World Bank’s commitment to support #Eswatini. I updated His Majesty on Eswatini’s reclassification as a blend country which unlocks additional resources for development. #IDA eligible #IBRD.

First stop - Eswatini! I really enjoyed visiting the kingdom and meeting with the World Bank team, government counterparts and the private sector. I look forward to engaging on the portfolio as we support the government in achieving its development goals.
