The Seahawks signed WR Ty Scott to their practice squad and released LB Michael Barrett to make room, the team announced. Scott was with Seattle in training camp. Barrett was the player they acquired from Carolina for CB Mike Jackson.

My guess is that Jamie Sheriff will end up back with the Seahawks tomorrow if he goes unclaimed on waivers. They had hoped to get him on their practice squad when they waived him on cut-down day but he was claimed by Carolina. Panthers waived him today.
