The original art for the TALES OF THE BLACK FREIGHTER cover I did for WATCHMEN animated features. Inks on 13x19” Fabriano board. The idea was to have the radioactive symbol ☢️ worked in the composition to help with the transition from the comic to present time. Do you see it? 😀

Broooo I had no idea this DC watchmen Chapter 1 was so good. I really can't wait for the Chapter 2. Another reason why DC are Gods with their Animations.

Finally got around watching WATCHMEN CHAPTER 1 last night and LOVED it! I was impressed on how mature the movie is & it was great to see my artwork for THE BLACK FREIGHTER part interact and transition with the main (animated) story. Always cool to see my name in the credits 😁

This was such an awesome time in my career- directing on #TheBatman and working with an incredibly talented crew crafting a very unique vision for this Emmy-winning series. I’m grateful to have been a part of it all.

SO watched the animated Watchmen:Chapter 1 last night. It's a direct adaptation of the BRILLIANT, HISTORIC, graphic novel that I love. WB actually did a brilliant job and Katee Sackhoff as Laurie? PERFECT. The whole V\O cast was perfectly cast. Cant wait for the conclusion.
