16c forecast today, is this a good thing or not for our bees. Plenty of flower about to forage and the hives have gained weight over the last month 🤷‍♂️

Our honey with organic cacao has proved extremely popular on our online shop but we haven’t taken it out to a market yet! This Sunday come along to Lenham CountryMarket and you can taste it for yourself. Not only is it very tasty but has amazing health benefits 🐝🐝

The honey boxes are filling up fast, thanks to the farmer planting field beans this year. Field bean honey is rich and full flavoured, look out for it on our stall.

I sure am glad I haven’t taken any honey off the hives yet this year. If I had , they would be in serious trouble by now. It’s the nucs and splits that I’m still having to feed to keep alive.

Not only are the bees finally standing on their own 6 feet but some of the colonies are starting to produce some spare honey. Look at the pictures closely and you will see very dark blue pollen which is from poppies, A little cheerful news from the worst year we have ever had.

This is what we had arrive by post today. The postman was very intrigued and said he had them sitting in the front with him. So we now have 10 queens and their attendants in our kitchen cupboard 😂🐝🐝 Murray McGregor

This years honey seems to be very light in colour but plenty of flavour. No idea what forage as it’s the same from several different sites.
