Strong support for the council's LTN policies in Streatham by-elections last week. Great to see that even where opposition was as noisy as in Streatham it's a small minority of people who don't want safer streets and cleaner air.

Every time I see businesses moaning like this I remember when I lived in York; EVERY shop asked me to sign their petition against pedestrianisation. It went ahead & business boomed as a direct result. Shopkeepers are the worst people to ask about street design, they're clueless.
