It's the body that goes with this skull. We have been collecting the skull and skeleton for 2 years. We only just got the skull on display at Badlands Dinosaur Museum (Dickinson, North Dakota) about 2 months ago. It's the only Lambeosaurus from the USA.

Enjoying revisiting Carnegie Museum of Natural History with Prof Susie Maidment and spending some quality time with these old friends (which I first saw almost exactly 30 years ago 😬) - two lovely skulls of Dryosaurus #FossilFriday

The repeated finding that silesaurids represent the Triassic record of ornithischians is perhaps one of the most understated but exciting realizations of the past decade or so of Triassic work. Cool new study here. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

In scientific articles describing a new species, researchers explain the meaning behind each new fossil’s name. Did you know the Museum has 400+ fossils in our Collections with “canadensis” in the name? This skull of Brachylophosaurus canadensis was found in Milk River, Alberta.

New wound care behavior in ants! Here we show how ants amputate the leg of injured conspecifics (a first in the animal kingdom)! Interestingly, amputations are not always the best strategy to care for a wound and ants have adapted their treatment accordingly. A 🧵... (1/6)
