Excited to share the latest preprint with Michael Angelo! While imaging studies often focus on cell objects, images capture significant info outside of cells. Enter Pixie, a pipeline for the quantitative annotation of both pixel and cell level featuresđŸ§”biorxiv.org/content/10.110

Presenting a poster outside always leaves me praying to the sky for no rain. Snow poster would be cool though. Hail poster would be metal and a blast.

Amazing work from one of the coolest and smartest scientists I know YeEun Kim ! If you have an interest in hematopoiesis or how to break apart cell types into cell spectrums, this is your jam! Also, there's a bunny UMAP :)

First preprint from the lab! Introducing CellSighter - a new deep learning algorithm to classify cells in multiplexed imaging data. I am super excited about this one... đŸ§”

Guaranteeing 7 paid sick days to rail workers would cost the rail industry a grand total of $321 million a year – less than 2% of its profits. Please don't tell me the rail industry can't afford it. Rail companies spent $25.5 billion on stock buybacks and dividends this year.

Moving away from caged animal experiments really should be the goal - for both scientific and ethical reasons. Handling mice in a small box has never felt as perfectly controlled as we like to believe it to be. newyorker.com/culture/annals

When you bike to lab on a Saturday and realize you forgot your keys but can see the machine through the window, taunting you.

I really think the scientific community at large needs to pay much more attention to this. Both the coordinated concealment of this information and how this will materially alter our understanding of the universe. It seems beyond a reasonable doubt that UAP and NHIs exist.

Excited to see this published! Check out Pixie, a pipeline for quantifying non-cellular features (as well as improving cell classifications) in multiplexed images. nature.com/articles/s4146

I am thrilled to share my preprint with Bendall Lab that includes a new and comprehensive phenotypic atlas of human hematopoietic progenitor cells. Check out how we reconcile the diversity of human HSPCs in the tweetorial below. biorxiv.org/content/10.110
