Emma Chamley ’25 knew Butler University’s Washington, DC Learning Semester was the perfect fit for her. Interning at the Office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin, she has had the opportunity to attend briefings on the Hill and network with professionals.

Butler University’s Honors Program provides students with a personalized experience, including access to unique Honors seminar courses and undergraduate research. Honors student Emily Hwang ’25 believes the best part about the program is the study abroad opportunities.

As a first-year, Kate Thuma ’26 opted to live in the Honors wing of Residential College (ResCo). She believes living in such a welcoming community during her first year set the tone for her amazing Butler experience.
