I was proud to march with Unite Scotland and Keep Grangemouth Working. I grew up 200 yards from the refinery and know how important it is for the local economy. Grangemouth can’t be left behind. It can and must be a blueprint of that collaborative and managed transition in action.

In the final month of life, people often end up at A&E. As this Nuffield Trust analysis shows, better community care could offer more appropriate support. Hospices can play a big role here. But some - like St Raphael's Hospice - are having to cut back these services. It needs to change.
So delighted for Kevin Blyth 💙 This award is so deserving 👏👏👏 A true 🌟 So pleased to have him here in Scotland for our lovely clients.
According to Marie Curie, 1/3 of dying people in England and Wales endure severe pain in their final week, revealing "patchy and inconsistent" care. There is an urgent need for sustainable funding so hospices can deliver quality, compassionate care. expressandstar.com/news/uk-news/2…
Absolutely appalling to hear this!!! No hospice should have inadequate funding, but more to the point no one should die in pain.! Please raise funds in your area for your local Hospice Hospice UK
Fabulous quote from Phyllis Craig of Action on Asbestos recognising the dedication of our Mesothelioma UK nurses in Scotland. Our Clinical Nurse Specialists are entirely funded by the generous donations from our supporters and partner funders, for which we are deeply grateful.
