Good morning, #RochMN! I’ve been out in Connecticut for most of this week on a guest recital trip but I’m back on the bench. 🔔 The theme for today’s recitals is… can you guess? 😉

If you guessed Broadway classics, you’re right! Keep your ears open today at noon and 4:45 to hear selections from “South Pacific,” “The King and I,” “Phantom of the Opera,” and “Kiss Me, Kate” (my favorite musical!). Should be a lot of fun!

Man, I’ve been missing Mimi lately. It’s been almost six months since she died and I still find it hard to believe. Ugh. Grief is such a stupid thing.

One thing these indictments all prove is that we need a Constitutional Amendment that ends the Electoral College and makes the winner of our future Presidential elections the person who got the most votes. We did the 18 year old voting right in just over a year. Let's try it.

This country's refusal to hold Nixon accountable for his crimes still ranks as one of our most tangible failures. The former president being charged with almost 100 felonies and still pulling even on reelection odds is a pathetic testament to that 50-year national rot.

Good morning, #RochMN! I’ve been a little quiet on here lately; apologies for that. Today at noon, the Mayo Clinic⁩ #carillon will play a program in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost as a result of the #September11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001.

After the National Anthem, the bourdon will toll 102 times, symbolizing each minute between the North Tower being struck and its subsequent collapse.

Well, scratch that—there was a bit of a misfire with scheduling so this will be at 11:00 instead of noon. I’ll record the audio and get that uploaded for anyone who wants to listen but can’t make it downtown or watch the livestream!

Howdy, everyone! I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately (I’ve given up on my personal account and often forget about this one, ha) but here’s a heads-up for a big change… The #carillon recital schedule in #RochMN is changing starting tomorrow!

Starting 11/1/23, the Mayo Clinic #carillon in #RochMN will have a new schedule: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at 12:00 p.m. This new schedule should give more people a chance to listen to recitals and help keep the recital schedule more consistent. 🔔
