A resurrected #ghostpingo with "grow-faster" seedbank stripes (an expt!) that is >40 m long. In <2 yrs it will look like the ponds below as tons of long-lived seeds exposed in the excavation. Day 3 of #pondweek & some 5.5 farm ponds have been restored in the upper reaches of the River Stiffkey, Norfolk, thanks to Norfolk Rivers Trust funding. We are on fire helped greatly by magnificent volunteers - many current & past students/staff from UCL Geography ++ working v. hard!
