You've heard of the nine circles of Hell? A patient with cancer documented the TWENTY-SIX steps necessary to get their medication (as an oncologist I know a vicious cycle when I see one)

Client's husband died years ago. Had a pension that wife can claim when he would been 65 (now) We have "receipts" from when he died and in 2019 (requested update) Called today -they say there isn't a pension. Thank goodness for receipts! They are opening a "ticket" Stay tuned.

How exactly does a President cut the price of car insurance? Does he intend to have the the federal government take over the insurance industry?

ICYMI: 1) Your health / life insurance premiums may soon increase if you live in areas with higher COVID-19 cases 2) You may offered a premium reduction if you’re vaccinated 3) This has nothing to do with politics or overzealous health officials. It’s cold hard math 🤷🏽‍♂️

Well, this is awkward. This week's conversation on "The Long View" is...with me. My dear colleagues Amy C. Arnott and Dan Lefkovitz interviewed me about "How to Retire." If you want to hear me truly relaxed and having fun, this is it. 👍morningstar.com/personal-finan…

Yet one more reason that tying private health insurance to being healthy enough to work is double jeopardy for the sick Of the thousands of patients I’ve treated for cancer I’ve never seen a voluntary absence (but I’ve seen plenty return to work too soon after chemo or surgery)

I am so freaking excited! Just got my copy of Christine Benz book “How to Retire”!!! I know it will be amazing and I’m especially excited about Lesson 16. She was very gracious. 😁

Segregating risk pools would be a major change from the ACA. Young and healthy people would see their premiums go down. Older and sicker people would see their premiums go up a lot and potentially be priced out of health insurance entirely.

Am I going to have to start writing about this again? Ugh. Vance doesn’t understand 💩 about health care. High risk pools don’t work.

FWIW, doctors tell patients a lot of things they don’t like — lose weight, stop smoking, drink less, secure your guns, get that colonoscopy — it’s about health not cultism.
