On this day in history, September 15, 1963, four Black girls were killed by a bomb at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. And in 1935, the Nuremberg Laws were enacted in Nazi Germany, which deprived German Jews of their citizenship. apnews.com/today-in-histo…

Landlords, not immigrants, made the rents skyrocket. THE CITY WANTED THE *LEGAL* WORKERS. They are bringing a declining community to life. This is how America gets great. Who do you think built the mythical US you and your cult followers yearn for? IMMIGRANTS BUILD ECONOMIES

As we approach another election season, it is a time to reflect on the extreme sacrifices, including loss of life, that were made for Black people in America to obtain the right to vote.  I hope all of us will remember the importance of exercising this right. Voting is a powerful

The economy is a central issue for voters, but it can be hard to understand the impact the govt has on the economy. Comparing the US post-Covid economy to other countries, it’s clear that Covid has posed challenges to every economy, and the US has fared much better than others.

For only the second time in our 179-year history, the editors of Scientific American are endorsing a candidate for president. That person is Kamala Harris. | Editorial bit.ly/4daH36q

Most fascinating data point I’ve seen in public this cycle is post debate ABC News poll: Harris at 45% support among white likely voters. Oh u don’t think 🧐 that’s all tht interesting? Well… if that 45% holds, it would be greater white support thn any Dem Pres candidate since 1976!

President Barack Obama received more death threats than ANY president. *ANY* president. Perhaps no one attempted assassination because there were more stringent gun laws. Now anyone and their grandmother with mental issues can get a long-range assault rifle and make an attempt.

Remember Squeaky Fromme? Paraphrasing Carville: "It's the *GUNS*, stupid." People with mental health issues become dangers to themselves and others much more lethally when they have easy access to guns, especially #ASSAULTRIFLES Many more gun restrictions in 1975.

Unsurprisingly, Harris has Trump beat when it comes to fiscal responsibility — she would add less than half of what Trump would to deficits.
