How's your gardening year going? On the blog, I've been looking around mine and assessing the failures - there are a few! - and the things that have gone well. Link in bio. #gardening

I am afraid I have decided not to post or spend time on this site. I know there are good people here but I have come to the conclusion that, as currently managed, it is being used as a tool to destroy our community cohesion and spread hate.

Probably going to continue spending less time on here, and start spending more on there. Same username 🦋

I'm going to close this account on Friday 9th August. Musk's use of it to challenge the UK's legal system, RT'ing outright lies, snide comments about K. Harris and much more = tipping point. Hard to break a 13 year old, mostly fun habit, but it's time, sadly. Thanks, everyone. x

Floral sunshine from the garden. The fennel had to be cut to stop all of it self-seeding - you can have far too much of a good thing. The calendula were in the way on the veg beds. Only the tithonia was grown for cutting. #gardening

Harvesting spuds is so much easier when they’ve been grown in a tub. I always miss a few in the veg beds. These are ‘Pink Fir Apple’. Not a bad haul from three tubers. #gardening
