This is very real. And it’s being upcycled in the cultivated meat discourse among supporters. It is a self-defeating strategy if the goal is to encourage one or several options within the ethically improved category rather than the conventional category.

Peanut & tree nut bans in schools requiring cow’s milk bears hallmarks of white supremacy. Dairy allergy is more common in US & globally than tree nut & peanut, & can be severe despite pop belief. Nut allergy mostly is in ppl of Euro descent— least likely to have dairy allergy.
