Twitter today is a depressing car crash of stories of disabled people being bullied, assaulted, victimised, marginalised and generally trodden down.

The arc of the moral universe may be long, but some days it takes a day off.

The last I heard from Odeon, they were ‘obtaining a general expert opinion on the impact of the cinematic setting on cats’ despite me explaining that Chloe has been trained for the cinema environment exactly like this. Listen to disabled people, ODEON and Eversheds Sutherland !!!

The highlight of my day was definitely the man who came up to my table when I was just existing drinking a coffee to suggest that I buy myself a magnifying glass so that I wouldn’t need to hold my phone so close to my face to see it 🙃

I am pleased to report that National Express has contacted me to say a) Chloe is free to travel, b) they are reviewing their policy, c) they welcome a conversation with me about access, etc.

I’m grateful and look forward to the conversation. :-)

It’s clear that some people don’t want a good outcome. They just want to moan and attack. Sad, isn’t it?

My eyes are watering. The end credits of ‘Ambulance’ always get me. I once read that ‘paramedic’ is a great job for an autistic. I couldn’t do it, that’s for sure. Thanks to those who do.

Missed the alt attribute. In the photo, Chloe is lying on her back with her belly exposed. Very relaxed.

Everything with Chloe was done at her pace. Often, she led the way. Sainsbury's aside, we have had a great 5 years. The rescue centre originally said she was 4 years old. It turns out it was a badly written 9. So, she will be 14 now. Can we have another 5 years more? I hope so.
