I honestly don’t really understand why Starmer’s comms strategy is to plunge everyone in this country into deep depression by constantly talking about how awful and hopeless the state of the UK is and that there’s no end in sight, like what could go wrong here 🫠

The UK is not broke. The UK is the 6th largest economy in the world. The wealth is just in the hands of the rich. Remember this when Labour say there is no money left.

UK billionaires have seen their wealth grow by over 1000% in the last 30 years. Refusing to implement a wealth tax on the top 1% is disgraceful.

starmer says the public have to endure short term pain for long term good. the public have been enduring short term pain for 16 years and the rich have done nothing but benefit during that time.

honestly think we're addicted to suffering in this country. any rhetoric of hope and radical change is always dismissed as naïve, so politicians opt for punitive measures to be taken seriously - even when it's a poor economic choice. i'm so tired of this kind of politics.
