So thrilled to have been accepted for MedSoc 2024! Feels very full circle moment to return to Warwick as a presenting academic, having completed my MA there💜 The other papers look so interesting, it will be very hard to pick which ones to attend😅 see you there!

This is vile but this isn’t isolated - a similar thing happened in the Plymouth Uni Conservative society whilst I was doing my undergrad there. I am so sick of this!! They aren’t sorry and will continue to do horrendous stuff

Are you a PhD student working to advance medical sociology who needs just a little more funding? Please consider applying for the Phil Strong prize: britsoc.co.uk/groups/medical… If you have students who would be interested please circulate / retweet ☺️ Just under a month to go!

Hearing people using the phrase ‘first gen’ to talk about being the first generation in their family to do a PhD even though their parents went to uni for undergrad/ masters… no.. that’s not what that means??

#MedSoc24 was absolutely incredible! It was great to be back at Warwick, and felt extra special that I was voted in as the one of the new PG/ECR Reps whilst here. Thank you to all of the organisers and presenters! Far too much to gush about for the character limit here😅
