UPDATE: Tax agency RRA closed up all shops in Bugaragara trading center, Rwimiyaga sector, Nyagayare district, to force all traders to buy and start using EBMs. Shops were closed btn Monday and Thursday. RRA is under pressure to raise revenue.

UPDATE: Size of Rwanda's economy (GDP) grew by over $2bn in the past year, according to latest Statistics Institute data. It grew from Rwf 15.2 trillion ($10.9bn) to Rwf 17.6 trillion ($13bn) using current exchange rate, or much higher using the 2023 rate.
