11 June 1942 | Italian Jewish boy, Massimo D'Angeli, was born in Florence. He arrived at Auschwitz on 14 November 1943 with his older brother Carlo. They were both murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection with their mother Renata.

12 June 1929 | A German Jewish girl, Anne Frank, was born in Frankfurt. In 1942 on her 13th birthday she received an empty diary. She perished in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. 'Human greatness does not lie in wealth or power, but in character & goodness.' (A.Frank)

15 June 1925 | Polish Jewish girl, Sura (Sarah) Brombart, was born in Blaszki. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Kazerne Dossin in Mechelen on 11 August 1942. She did not survive.

18 June 1930 | Belgian Jewish girl Irma Andrie Jeannette Speelman was born in Wenduine. During the war she lived in The Hague. She was deported to #Auschwitz in October 1942 and murdered in a gas chamber after the selection.

21 June 1924 | Czech Jew, Hanuš Strauss, was born in Prague. On 6 September 1943 he was deported from #Theresienstadt ghetto to #Auschwitz. He did not survive.

25 June 1938 | A German Jewish boy, Henrik Shteinhart Tzukerman, was born in Berlin. His family emigrated to Belgium. In October 1942 he was deported from Malines / Mechelen do #Auschwitz. After the selection he was murdered in a gas chamber.
