Every time I watch this act, I think about that adage (which I will not get right) about how transformation into a butterfly may be beautiful, but it's probably a pretty rotten process for the caterpillar. These butterflies are beautiful because the caterpillars were brave.

Sitting up in the sound booth, you can hear the performers "calling" their own acts. And it's pretty interesting to listen to the timing and the amount of detail (or not).

CLOUD SWING, MEXICAN CLOUD SWING, & SWINGING TRAPEZE. they’ll bring us to flying trapeze, and that will close out this afternoon’s show *AND* the Spring Show series.

Another pop quiz: who knows the difference between cloud swing and Mexican cloud swing, and can say which is which?
