CIS Site Coordinator Rashid Hines (pictured in the center) and his Cre8tors Cre8 photography club collaborated with Petersburg High School athletics, to create a project that showcases the pursuit of excellence in the fields of athletics and academics.

Our CIS site coordinators at Petersburg High School have been busy. Whether it's college visits, mentoring groups, clubs & activities or various other supports, CIS works hard to surround students with a community of support empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

We would like to give a shout out to Mr. R.J. Sturdivant, our site coordinator at Cool Spring Elementary School. Pictured here is Mr. Sturdivant's male mentoring program that he runs in partnership with Concerned Black Men of Petersburg.

Super site coordinator, Courtney Holly, goes above and beyond to meet the needs of her students at Lakemont Elementary School. She takes on all tasks with a mixture of tenderness and tenacity, and always....of course....with a smile😊. Thanks for all you do Courtney!!!

Today our staff had the opportunity to come together for some great fun and bonding. While we constantly focus on building relationships and supporting our students and families, we cannot forget the importance of relationships and support amongst each other #Squad.
