The first half yesterday was as dominant as we’ve been this season: 📈 1.66xG vs 0.03 🥅 11 shots to 1 ⚽️ 62% possession v a possession side. We were slow starters at times last season so it was lovely to see us fly out the traps and dominate our opponent from the off! #wba

Loved seeing Hunty back at The Hawthorns. Know I’ve said this before but one of the my favourite Albion players from my childhood. Elegant, skilful but strong with it. The kind of player who made kids (including me) fall in love with the game! #wba

Spot on. In previous seasons Carlos had to get results with someone else’s players and no resources so sometimes the football had to be pragmatic to get us where we wanted to be. Now he finally has the squad he wants and this is the result of that! #wba

I’ve been hearing exactly the same from the brilliant Dan Hargraves who covers Josh as Bristol Live’s Rovers man! He’s had nothing but glowing things to say about Josh. A really exciting talent! #wba

💙🤍 Love this quote from Carlos after Saturday’s win: 💬 “At this stage of the season it’s important to deserve your results.” Later in the season it’s important to pick up points even if you play badly but Carlos wants more than that at present! #wba

🤯 This is an unreal challenge. He’s behind him when the ball is played. I repeat what I said last week, there’s not a better all around right back in the league on current form! #wba

One of the single most brilliant pieces of skill I’ve seen at an Albion game and that includes the many world class players who visited The Hawthorns in the Premier League years. This was another level from Grady! #wba

This is why we all need to stay calm in the stadium & trust Carlos & the tactics. The team know the plan inside & out so hollering at them to get it forward quickly/get it in the box/etc does nobody any good. In short: Keep calm and trust Carlos/the players! 10/12 #wba

We obviously have to be careful what contracts we hand out but Furlong would be one I’d be desperate to give a new deal to. He’s grown into a truly brilliant full-back at this level and it would be almost impossible to replace him with someone of the same quality! #wba

1️⃣ What is the best individual performance by an opposition player you can remember seeing at The Hawthorns? 🌳 Going back a few years here but one that always stuck with me (as much as it pains me to admit it) was Stan Collymore for Forest in 1993. What’s yours? #wba
