It was great to join the APPG on Water and get to grill Ofwat on their plans to help toughen up regulation of the water industry. It’s clear there are many different groups who need to work together to see this happen, and I’ll keep pushing for action to make it a reality.

Yesterday, I attended a drop-in session in Parliament with the Post Office. They are often the heart of our high streets, helping both individuals and local businesses manage their money. It was great to hear about their plans to ensure they keep delivering these vital services.

Our children are being let down due to poor SEND schooling. In Parliament this week, I highlighted how the hardline approach to absence and use of isolation - coupled with a lack of funding and unachieveable targets - are harming both pupils and parents. Things need to change.
