I rudely interrupted someone on a hybrid Teams call yesterday, I’ve apologised, but it’s still bothering me. Those hybrid meetings are so difficult to get right as you literally are more present in the room. 4 years of Teams and I still haven’t got it nailed.

Can’t underestimate how important a simple smile can be on a day someone really needs to see and receive one.

It was a great privilege to have attend the Leeds Oncology awards last night. So proud to work alongside these people, their care and dedication is second to none!

I’m not into gaming at all so was a bit dubious about reading this for book club, but have to say I absolutely loved it. Beautifully told, would highly recommend. Now off to blow my nose, as had a tiny cry at the end 🙂.

It’s International Nurses Day, I’ll just take a moment to think about what they do and then thank them for the care and support they’ve given to many family members over the years, and for being such great people to work with.

This last week has been a difficult one for me and my family. It’s a whole year since my wonderfully kind step dad died. I miss him lots, he put up with me for nearly 40 years and never complained (well, not to me 🙂). We miss you Philip xx
