So many lessons to be learned here.

1 Live frugally well into the time of established wealth.
2 Buy land when you’re young, especially in times where agriculture looks poor.
3 Don’t be a naysayer. It won’t happen for you with a bad attitude.
4 Be patient.

For a long time I thought meekness = weakness.

But, frankly, I never made the effort to dig into what meekness is.

We can't control many events.

But, we can control how we respond to them.

Had a friend in law school who interned at a medium sized company.

His job was to sit around all day and dream up 'what if' & 'worst case' scenarios.

Then they'd test the company's response & flag major risk factors.
