Tomorrow nights Cabinet report also confirms that the Government’s allocation of £8.3m is to be used for purchase of 32 homes as temporary accommodation (TA’s) for homeless families & 5 permanent homes for the Afghan resettlement programme.

As a member of the overview and scrutiny committee and having sat through a meeting less than 24 hours ago, I am puzzled how transparency and scrutiny can hold no weight for the Mayor and his cabinet. You would think history is there for learning and not repeating!
