Migrant families need relief, not housing instability and additional trauma, as the new school year begins. The shelter stay limits unnecessarily implemented by the Adams administration cause undue stress on our education system, our agencies, and families seeking stability.

As students begin the new school year, some will face the challenge of moving between shelters every 60 days. @cndelarosa, Alexa Avilés, @nyccomptroller, and I joined advocates, unions, and families to urge the Mayor to eliminate the 60-day rule.
