Busy morning Strongsville City Schools. Started the day off visiting Strongsville Middle School where Strongsville High #DECA students are running a Reality Day teaching Financial Literacy to our 8th graders. Then, I listened to a 5th grade band/orchestra concert at #ChapmanElementary. #ModelMustangs

Big shoutout to Mrs Atakan and her students for hosting our 1st Strongsville Middle School EL Gallery Walk. All of her students made posters comparing Strongsville to their home villages and towns. #ModelMustangs

Spent the morning traveling between buildings checking on some projects. Thanks to the Strongsville city schools Maintenance dept. for putting up this wall Strongsville Middle School to create a new admin office and intervention space. Next up is #StrongTech to pull some cables and install some tech. #ModelMustangs

New school year & I am focusing my PD series on #GenAI with our staff. Today we are working with SHS co-teachers on how MagicSchool AI 💜 🪄✨ can not only assist them by differentiating & scaffolding lessons, but how #Raina can create an engaging Station Rotation model for all students

First full day of staff PD at SCS! Gave 3 sessions on enhancing instruction & improving efficiency w/MagicSchool AI 💜 🪄✨ to our K-5 teachers this morning Then I spent the afternoon exploring it with 9-12 teachers Exciting & engaging learning opportunities coming soon for our students

After nearly 8 hrs of in-person PD and 2 hours of virtual PD the last two days, nearly 70% (if my math is right) of our educators have been introduced and explored MagicSchool AI 💜 🪄✨. #StartingTheYearOffSTRONG
