When I was a younger coach, I used to wait for the end of the season to give feedback. I didn't want to have difficult conversations. Now I see the value in continuous feedback. It builds better players, coaches and ultimately the program Feedback is the breakfast of #champions

As a young coach I was worried about the scoreboard. Now I realize I must first win the hearts of my players. Wins will follow. It takes empathy, trust, and dedication. Success isn't just about points—it's about unity, resilience, and the bond that fuels victory.

When I was a younger coach, I used to think yelling was the way to get results. I thought I had to show emotion to get emotion and action out of my players. I've learned that it's really about communication and understanding what my players need. Helping them understand the
