Got in a nice, slow, easy 3 mile run this morning. First run since late July. Pleasantly surprised how good I felt the rest of the day.

You cannot get me to care about XC results in September. Add is 90 degree race conditions and my not caring quadruples. Early season racing is nothing more than an extended quality effort, while working on race-day routines. It is a long year/career, gotta keep your powder dry.
