I want nothing more than to see you succeed but I care more about seeing you injury free

training + high intensity testing + all the running at camp = overtraining

When making your highlight film 🎥🎥

Think of it as more of a skill cut up.. you’re going to show everything that you do

And remember it’s a trailer to your movie, you gotta hook your viewers

I love the counties or HS conferences that get together and organize these recruiting events for coaches!!

It’s hard to get out to every.single.school - but there are coaches out there who make life easier on college coaches!

Please don’t put your highlights in game order

Put them in order of your best/most impressive!! ⚡️📼

& be sure to show a variety of skills

Coaches look at recruiting as a precursor to who you will be in school

If we gotta beg you to get the application done, chase down paperwork… we’ll have to do the same thing when you’re here

It’s a really easy way to get yourself off of recruiting boards

I get asked what I look for in recruits

There is a floor - that’s the talent you have to play at a given level. Athletic ability, measurables, etc

I need to find out the ceiling - that’s character - grit, work ethic, drive

Great people will push themselves to be great players

I always tell my PSAs to have a current copy of their transcript for this reason👇🏼

It’s helpful to have a screenshot & PDF copy of your transcript ready to send to coaches

Coaches won’t be able to do anything for you until they’ve seen your grades
