No one is objecting to Wind farms on the basis of visual impact. The call is for the correct EU standards to be applied.

Isn’t biodiversity protection why Ireland must (1) adhere to EU environmental safeguards, (2) ensure ecosystem-based planning underpins site selection & (3) reject sites that are totally inappropriate - e.g beside Rockabill, on east coast sandbanks or beside SACs in Galway Bay?
