Prom 2024, a night to remember ✨ Dalziel HID

The recipient of the Dalziel High School Brian Miller award is announced on the night of the Prizegiving. We were delighted to discover it was awarded to Kara for all the work she has done in raising deaf awareness. So well deserved 👏👏

I can finally let you know that I am a BAFTA Young Presenter Finalist!!! I was invited to BAFTA HQ in London yesterday with all the amazing young finalists! It was an incredible experience! Thank you #bafta 🤩 #baftayoungpresenter

It’s going to be an emotional day as we say goodbye to Kara. She will be piped out later with all the S6 pupils but we took the chance to present her with her Brian Miller award 👏👏

And she’s gone! What a wonderful way to end your school experience. We will miss you Kara Gillespie, don’t be a stranger. We also said goodbye to Mrs Hunter, the place won’t be the same without her. Enjoy your retirement!
