There’s a legitimate case that Texas sabotaged A&M’s shot at winning a national championship. That’s a next level rivalry.

Aldo Plata Texas announced Pierce’s firing yesterday. They would only do that if they had their next guy lined up. That guy, Jim Schlossnagle. Texas could have waited one more day for that announcement.

Wes Johnson can almost certainly thank A&M for this.

Keep an eye on Oklahoma, Clemson, and Kentucky for similar news. That may point to where Texas A&M is looking for its replacement.

Interesting move here for the #Aggies. Michael Earley is really good but this is most certainly a gamble for A&M. Will keep the roster together, but staff hires will be crucial to say the least.
