✔️We are running a Conflict Resolution training program for 25 teachers in Juba County, #SouthSudan 🇸🇸! A similar training will be conducted in Yei River County, bringing the total of the teachers trained in Central Equatoria State this year to 110.

✔️Last month, we held a special training session in the Cape Flats, #SouthAfrica 🇿🇦, focused on how to sew reusable sanitary pads as a solution to the limited access to sanitary products in poor local communities.

✔️We held a Community Dialogue for 123 youths in the Cape Flats area, #SouthAfrica 🇿🇦. The idea was to discuss issues facing local youths as a collective, and find common solutions to improve dialogue and build an environment conducive to peace.

✔️At the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement, #Uganda 🇺🇬, we recently ran a targeted ICT course for 102 trainees. Giving underprivileged communities access to skills that can empower them is crucial to our sustainable peacebuilding process.

✔️Last week, Forest Whitaker was in New York for the United Nations General Assembly. He participated in a series of meetings and events focused on the #UN2030 agenda and its 17 SDGs in his role as an advocate and activist for #peace and social justice.
