SCOTUS: The president does not have the power to forgive student loans under this particular law. TRUMP: OK, but he could order someone killed, though, right?

This is not even the least bit surprising. It’s exactly why we got January 6th and why the Supreme Court should have disqualified Trump for engaging in insurrection.

Two options: 1. Quit your taxpayer funded job that requires following basic ethics rules; or 2. Stop taking expensive gifts from rich people you met through your government job, especially when you don’t report them. Pretty simple

It's important to remember that today's verdict did not come from a particular official, or political party, or prosecutor. It came from a jury of twelve regular Americans. That's how justice works in the United States, where no one--not even a former president--is above the law.

Today, Trump was convicted of felonies he committed while serving as President to cover up crimes he committed while running for that office. He did so through his business that he claimed he had handed over to others. He is a convicted felon, a proven liar, & unfit for office.
