It is our duty to take care of our elders. Ashanti Alston has the opportunity to secure long-term elder friendly housing. Let’s make it happen!!! bit.ly/supportashanti

Freedom Farms learning and implementing some new techniques to deal with the advancing heat in Mississippi on account of climate change. We are constantly learning, experimenting and adapting. #BuildAndFight #GetOrganized #AgroEcology #EcoSocialism

This is what I picture as the role of Cooperation Tulsa in our local movement. It’s a way for us to bring the ideals of anarchism to a demographic that wouldn’t be exposed to them via other means.

I am so glad that we regularly table as Cooperation Tulsa. That constant exposure to the average person is a constant reminder that, even in one of the reddest states in the heart of the imperial hegemon, people are just people. They have all kinds of backgrounds and opinions.

I'd also like to point out that the Zapatista region, which includes 300,000 people, got to where they are by going out into the community & directly talking to people in the region, then educating & radicalizing them. If you don't want what they have then I'm not addressing you.

We're enjoying hosting anarchist organizers from all over. Today, wololo is visiting us from New Zealand, discussing the conditions and organizing climates there, and showing him around Tulsa. Send us a DM if you want to come visit us and exchange ideas and knowledge!

The communalist (lower case c) approach to social transformation consists of self-managed community assemblies that utilize mutual aid and direct action against domination to solve social problems and meet short-term, mid-term, long-term needs and goals.

We're entering into the next growing phase out at Flat Rock. The beans have climbed the entire height of the corn stalks, and the squash is starting to come out. We love seeing more biodiversity on the land, including birds of prey and lots of pollenators.

Some predictable dead ends for people engaging in left politics: marxist-leninism, social democracy (which is neither socialist nor democratic XD), liberalism, and anti-organizationalism. The above will predictably foreclose liberatory horizons when they flourish /1

We could really use some help with the grass at the front of Flat Rock near the street today. Our riding lawn mower is still under repair so we need to borrow a mower from the community.

Not long ago we harvested some beautiful Glass Gem Corn. We got a pretty good haul for our first year growing the three sisters. We selected out the healthiest kernels to be replanted first and then we'll play it by ear with the rest. Squash and beans are up next!

Flat Rock is my happy place. It feels good to be involved in building towards a better world. I love creating something tangible with small, incremental progress rather than reactively putting out fires or waiting for some magic event. It really helps keep my hopelessness at bay.
