💭 Recruiting reality… 💭 You have to be physically strong to play any level of college softball 🥎. Corners that can’t hit won’t play. MIF’s with slow feet won’t play. P’s that can’t bring it, or locate, won’t pitch. You have to have ++ tools to compete. At any level.

Player: “Coach, I really want to weigh my options. I’m definitely going to play softball.” Me: “Totally understand. What other offers do you have? Are we comparable?” Player: “Well I don’t have any other offers.” You really can’t make this stuff up.

Create a culture where people can't hide. Where the standard is clear, the necessary habits are identified, encouraged and celebrated, where the only choice is to be fully in or fully out. When people can hide/coast/abdicate, the culture suffers. Leaders set the tone.

Busy weekend for MCSB as we continued our 2 weeks of team building! On Saturday, we had the chance to serve Asheville Habitat for Humanity building a home for a family in need. Also, a special THANK YOU to Lake Hills Church for hosting us for breakfast & service this morning.
