I never thought in my lifetime I would see both Predator and Alien get back on track.

Rewatching FURY ROAD after FURIOSA is immeasurably cathartic. There are moments in Charlize Theron’s performance that are retroactively deeper and more satisfying. It’s hard to imagine FURY ROAD without FURIOSA now. These films are indelibly interlinked, two halves of a whole.

Do not sleep on this movie. One of the most incredibly disturbing and hand crafted horror films in the past few DECADES! Public interest wasn't there and it was dumped on Disney+. We are now in the age of Masterpieces getting lost in the pop cultural shuffle.

Finally something fucking good happened this year. He's a free man and he's headin home.

Despite no pop cultural interest, #Furiosa will be one of the last masterpieces of contemporary cinema. All blockbusters will slowly get phased out with CGI, AI and the volume LED screen. The art of what you put in front of the camera will truly die.

After the disappointment of the Blomkamp Alien 5 getting cancelled, I am so happy that Fede Alvarez Fede Alvarez was next in line to handle this property. All I've wanted was a return to the violent, the disgusting and the heart pounding. I have full faith in this movie.

Not only is #AlienRomulus a complete return to form for the Alien franchise but it's also a fucking kickass #Alien movie. Fede Alvarez should be very proud. Never thought I would see another alien movie where I was on the edge of my seat once the fun begins.

Slow news day

Just realized there hasn't been a Queen Xenomorph for 4 Alien films now. After so much retconning of the Aliens backstory and biology... kind of just miss the simpler time where the only extra addition to this species lore being "THIS one lays the eggs".

So I thought this would just be a bit of fun for the terminator franchise... turns out this is the best Terminator ANYTHING after T2. It's so interesting and different and love how it takes the themes seriously. A compulsory watch for Terminator fans.
