5 members of CCMPSAR conducted a 2 day GMDSS Short Range Operators course(SRC) in marine communications. Thanks to the Irish Naval Service and Engie for the use of the NMCI & John Patterson(Instructor Irish Navy) and Cronan Doyle (Examiner) of Doyle School of Motoring for their time
.Hank Wedel and friends lead volunteers from Penny Dinners Cork, Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery, Circle of Hope, the Samaritans, Sexual Violence Centre Cork, Shine a Light Mental Health and Suicide Awareness as they remember High Hopes Choir co-founder Paul Coveney, who died tragically a year ago.
Our Customer Director, Cathal Deavy, presented a #TescoCommunityFund cheque worth over €1,500 to Cork City Missing Persons Search & Recovery. The CCMPSAR do fantastic work in searching land and water for missing persons and we hope these funds will support with the important work they do 24 hours a day.
