Our Flower Hill Elementary School pollinator garden is happily welcoming a variety of bees 🐝 and butterflies 🦋 😊 . So far we've spotted Bumblebees, a Monarch butterfly, Swallowtail butterfly, and lots of little skippers!

My Flower Hill Elementary School 1st-3rd graders started learning about the awesomeness of honey bees this week with the help of local beekeeper Rick Wallace, who loaned me a hive, tools, smoker, suit, gloves, veil & gave us yummy 🍯 to taste. We'll finish reading EMMA & THE BEES next week!
