Secondary schoolgirls: Where are they now? Reunited with some of the young women in Makeni to learn if, and how, education has changed (and not changed) their lives during the past two years. But mostly we laughed, made TikTok videos & they met my son.

Annie Walsh Memorial School in Freetown was founded in 1849 as the oldest girls school in WEST Africa. Anyone know a sec. school for girls in the region that is older than this? I can't find one. Figuring out if I can claim it to be the oldest girls sec. school in all of Africa

Almost a year after my defense, and I'm finally starting to figure out what my dissertation was about. Thankful for all the amazing feedback on research and mock job talks from faculty and colleagues during the PPFP Info Spring Retreat this past weekend.

The conversation about whether or not Black students are protesting is bizarre to me. Because they are in the places where there are a lot of Black students. But on many of these campuses not only is the Black student population 3% or less, Black students are ignored

About yesterday: Drove to PA to produce content with @Drizilik Marjo Bona and to engage the Salone community in Philadelphia. I handed out flyers, talked about the show, while Drizilik connected with fans. Check out the recap on here👇🏾 tiktok.com/t/ZTNenBA4a/

Stop trying to explain race, nationality, ethnicity, and mixed heritage to these racists. They know Kamala Harris is Black. The reason they’re mounting this type of attack on her is **because** she’s Black.
