A game which uses pixelart is not the same as an indiegame. Unlike 10 years ago, right now there are quite some well funded pixel art games with substantial 7 digit budgets behind.
The indie spirit was always about full independence, wild ideas and about pushing gamedesign ahead.

Who knew that this game was apparently the first ever which snapped feet real-time to ground planes? I never heard of it before, but just all the tech showcased looks really impressive for the time.

The process of that last study.
I Pixeled it background to foreground, like a traditional painting.
This always has worked with physical paint, it also works digitally. It's generally a very enjoyable process you could try out at some point.
