I've been to Arlington National Cemetery once, when I was about 6 years old. My dad had a work conference in D.C. and it became a family trip. I remember seeing the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I remember how it important it was to be on the-best-of-my-best behavior that day.

Tennessee should not make labor union recognition more complicated than federal law requires. My opponent, of course, voted to ban "card checks" to discourage union organizing (HB1342 vote on 4/21/2023). Congratulations to our Ultium neighbors on getting union recognition!

It was painful to see another school shooting today. My thoughts and prayers are of course with the victims. But our actions should be, also. I'm tired of seeing inaction in Tennessee.

A 14-year-old should not have access to a gun

Trying a 14-year-old as an adult won’t prevent a single school shooting. “Punish harder” doesn’t work.
